Berkeley submitted its report on Friday, March 25, 2024. Here's what it said:
1. Completed Housing Applications Received and Entitled in 2024:
In 2024, the City received 39 complete housing development applications, with a total of 3,832 proposed units, which was 1,608 more units than were proposed in 2023 (see Table 1).
2 Of the 3,832 units that applied for entitlement in 2024, 1,235 units were granted entitlements in the same year. The remaining 2,597 units are still under review.
